Our service aims to empower tank owners/managers with the knowledge of
their own equipment. Our clients usually have access IQP personnel,
we provide IQP’s with the information they need to determine the
readiness of each tank.
The most common issues we find are that hatchways are closed and locked.
We can arrange lifting equipment, however this must be discussed
during the quotation process
We have devised a method to help gauge the level of sediment
found in your tank. This will be added as an annex to your report.
Some commercially available indicators are designed for use by
farmers in an agricultural setting and are not compatible with
NZS4541 as they are not accurate. Our reporting will highlight
this.
These will be included in the quotation for every the first time we
survey your asset.
The length of an inspection very much depends on the size
and conditions found inside the tank, generally the invasive part
of the inspection could take 2-4 hours.
Many times the inspection can take place while the tank in still in use.
Should it be assessed to be more prudent to temporary halt processes,
this time will be kept to absolute minimum.
Our team have come from backgrounds such as commercial aviation and construction management. All are current first responders, working at heights & MEWP trained. We follow safe working procedures and use quality equipment.
